What is Thymalin?
Thymalin is a polypeptide preparation extracted from calf thymus, developed largely by the Khavinson research group in Russia and studied for immunomodulation.
It is registered and used as a drug in Russia and some post-Soviet states but is not approved by the FDA or EMA; outside those markets it is treated as research-use-only.

Dosing context
Historical clinical use in its registered markets involved intramuscular courses, but these protocols are not validated by modern independent trials.
